Maybe it has something to do with your responsibilities at work or your roles at work.<\/p>\n
Maybe it has something to do with the person you see in the mirror.<\/p>\n
Perhaps you ask yourself: \u201cWhy can\u2019t I lose weight?\u201d<\/p>\n
And for all this time, you\u2019ve given yourself excuse after excuse.<\/p>\n
You\u2019ve blamed everybody.<\/p>\n
At some point recently, some part of yourself just said, \u201cEnough!<\/p>\n
I\u2019m not gonna take any more excuses.<\/p>\n
Things are going to change.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m not going back to the status quo.\u201d<\/p>\n
This is the most liberating thing that you can ever do because your subconscious is symbolizing all the things that could go wrong and all the things that can harm you in the form of fire.<\/p>\n
It is very intimidating, but you\u2019re not intimidated.<\/p>\n
You\u2019re not scared.<\/p>\n
Instead, you look at the fire as the solution.<\/p>\n
Why?<\/p>\n
When you get gold out of the ground, it\u2019s in its raw ore form.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s basically chunks of rocks with very small, almost invisible bits and pieces of gold.<\/p>\n
You don\u2019t even know if it\u2019s gold.<\/p>\n
It could be just a sparkly flex of iron compounds that are worthless.<\/p>\n
But you get all of that stuff tons of it, and then you grind them down.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s painful if applied to a human being or an ego.<\/p>\n
And then not content with that, you subject it to a tremendous amount of washing.<\/p>\n
You know, that\u2019s very disconcerting.<\/p>\n
It requires a tremendous amount of humility \u00e2\u20ac\u201d again when applied to the ego.<\/p>\n
And then finally you put it through a furnace \u00e2\u20ac\u201d a tremendous amount of fire and heat.<\/p>\n
And what happens next?<\/p>\n
Out comes this amazing pure yellow metal called gold.<\/p>\n
My friend, you are gold.<\/p>\n
You may not realize it.<\/p>\n
People might not say it.<\/p>\n
But you have tremendous potential.<\/p>\n
But for that potential to become reality, a reality that people can respect, a reality that the world can reward, you have to go through that process.<\/p>\n
This requires changing your mindset, becoming more humble, admitting your mistakes, changing your direction, and being open to embarrassment, shame, humiliation, and correction.<\/p>\n
