Donald Trump has issued a stern warning to Israel not to drop further bombs on Iran after reports that both countries had violated the ceasefire agreement he brokered.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Only this morning was it announced \u2013 chiefly by Trump, no less \u2013 that Israel and Iran had reached a peace deal to bring a swift end to their \u201c12-day war\u201d. Shortly afterwards, however, new reports emerged suggesting that Iran had immediately violated the agreement by launching new missiles.
\nIran denied it had fired said missiles at Israel in the \u201clast few hours\u201d, but Israeli defense minister Israel Katz r<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Needless to say, the ongoing fighting is not a good look for Trump, who has previously touted his negotiating skills and earlier claimed that he believed the ceasefire between the two countries could \u201cgo forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI would like to congratulate both Countries, Israel and Iran, on having the Stamina, Courage, and Intelligence to end, what should be called, \u201cTHE 12 DAY WAR,\u201d he wrote on Truth Social. \u201cI think the ceasefire is unlimited. It\u2019s going to go forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reacting to the news that both <\/em>countries had violated the agreement he helped to broker, Trump warned Israel not to drop further bombs on Iran.<\/p>\n

In another Truth Social post, he wrote: \u201cISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS. IF YOU DO IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION. BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW! DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

The developments come only days after Trump sanctioned US airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.<\/p>\n

In the immediate aftermath of the operation, which Trump himself labeled a \u201csuccess\u201d, Iran claimed it would retaliate. Trump warned them against such a course of action, warning that any act of retribution on Iran\u2019s part would \u201cbe met with force far greater\u201d than the weekend\u2019s strikes.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur objective was the destruction of Iran\u2019s nuclear enrichment capacity and a stop to the nuclear threat posed by the world\u2019s number one state sponsor of terror,\u201d Trump said in his address after the strikes. \u201cTonight, I can report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular military success.<\/p>\n

\u201cIran\u2019s key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated. Iran, the bully of the Middle East, must now make peace \u2013 if they do not, future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
