High-ranking officials, including U.S. presidents, sometimes use it to sign large volumes of documents without their direct input.<\/p>\n<p>Although legally acceptable in some cases, its use for signing critical legal documents\u2014especially without transparent oversight\u2014has raised concerns about authenticity and accountability.<\/p>\n<p>A report from the Oversight Project, which is a division of the right-leaning Heritage Foundation, claims that every document featuring Biden\u2019s signature\u2014aside from the letter announcing his withdrawal from the 2024 race\u2014seems to have been produced using an autopen.<\/p>\n<p>These findings have sparked concerns about Biden\u2019s cognitive state and raised questions over whether unelected officials were effectively making decisions on his behalf.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWHOEVER CONTROLLED THE AUTOPEN CONTROLLED THE PRESIDENCY,\u201d the Oversight Project declared on X, along with images comparing Biden\u2019s signatures. Horowitz. \u201cUnder the 25th Amendment, his inability to make decisions should have meant a succession of power.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He further claimed Biden\u2019s staffers issued \u201caggressively much farther to the left\u201d orders that should be invalid.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWho has been running the country for the last few years?\u201d Bailey asked in his letter. \u201cI fear that Mr. Biden\u2026 was a mere puppet for far-left, unelected staffers. The people deserve to know the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) recalled an incident earlier this year that also fueled speculation that Biden wasn\u2019t in charge of his own administration and wasn\u2019t signing his own orders.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson said that during a meeting at the Oval Office with Biden in 2024, the then-commander-in-chief did not remember he signed an executive order pausing the sale of liquified natural gas (LNG) to Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<br \/>\nJohnson recounted the story publicly for the first time during an episode of Bari Weiss\u2019 podcast \u201cHonestly\u201d for The Free Press. He explained that, based on his \u201cpersonal observation\u201d in dealing with Biden, the president \u201chas not been in charge for some time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His account was originally reported by the Wall Street Journal in June, although that report was based on anonymous sources.<\/p>\n<p>When Weiss pressed Johnson for more details, he recounted how Biden\u2019s staff continually dismissed his attempts to schedule a meeting with the president in January 2024, amid \u201cbig national concerns\u201d that, as he put it, kept him awake at night.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson said that after media pressure, Biden\u2019s staff eventually relented and invited him to the Oval Office to meet the president. Once they were alone in the Oval Office, Johnson asked the president about his pause on LNG exports.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI cannot answer this from my constituents in Louisiana,\u201d Johnson recalled telling Biden. \u201cSir, why did you pause LNG exports to Europe? Liquefied natural gas is in great demand by our allies. Why would you do that?
