On Monday, Trump\u2019s legal team filed an appeal with the Colorado Supreme Court, requesting a review of the legal and factual rulings made by District Judge Sarah Wallace. His attorneys argued that the judge\u2019s conclusions were \u201cwholly unsupported by the law.\u201d Judge Wallace had determined that Trump had \u201cincited\u201d the attack on the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, but ultimately ruled against the plaintiffs\u2019 argument that the former president was subject to disqualification under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment.<\/p>\n
